One graphic tee. Three ordinary days.
From the NSC Field Guide.
Simple outfit ideas that give the graphic room to speak, using clothes you may already own.
A graphic tee can be the most expressive piece in an otherwise simple outfit. You do not need a new wardrobe around it. Start with a comfortable fit, then choose the layers and shoes you already reach for.
1. The errands uniform
Pair the tee with your everyday jeans or comfortable trousers and shoes suited to the walking you expect to do. Keep the other pieces visually quiet if you want the graphic to be the focus. Check the outfit while sitting as well as standing; comfort during the actual day matters more than a photograph.
2. The weather-is-undecided layer
Try an open overshirt, flannel, or lightweight jacket. Check that the collar and front opening leave the part of the design you care about visible. If the sleeves bunch, adjust the combination rather than assuming the tee itself is wrong.
3. The casual get-together
Use a clean, well-fitting tee with your preferred casual trousers and a simple outer layer. Let the venue set the level of formality. A graphic shirt can start a conversation; it does not obligate you to explain personal experiences or speak for anyone else.
Make it yours
Try the combination in daylight, check the fit in motion, and use the accessories you actually enjoy. There is no required Veteran look. The product features below are options from our own store, selected for their different graphics. See each matching page for its current colors and sizes.
